Craft Warehouse Assignment #2

This group of projects was created for Craft Warehouse using Jillibean Soup products, which I love. Please take a look at these and other projects on the Craft Warehouse website (www.craftwarehouse.com).

“Mummy’s Sweet Boy” layout

Jillibean Apple Cheddar Soup: patterned papers, Soup Labels, and sticker

Buttons and thread

Cut circle from 12 x 12 cardboard sheet and remove alphas. Spray both with Glimmer Mist until the desired color is reached. Set aside to dry. Cut trees and apple from patterned paper and Soup Labels. Coat with Diamond Glaze and let dry several hours (depending on thickness).

Cut Patterned papers, round corners, and adhere to cardstock.

Fussy cut circles for flowers, crumple the circles for distressed look, glue center of each layer together, and attach button to center. Do the same for the tree and tree trunk. Use corrugated cardboard circle as one layer and the apple embellishment as the center. Adhere tree tops with Glue Dots.

Create the journaling strips using word processing software, Gill Sans MT Ext Condensed Bold font in brown, and green background. Print and cut into strips. Attach with Glue Dots.

Cut patterned paper background in desired size and adhere to cardstock.

Hand cut banners, stamp floral image on one banner (or more), use ink pen to draw border on each banner, pierce corners and thread ribbon through holes. Adhere each banner with Glue Dots for added dimension.

Cut the corrugated cardboard into desired shape, place brads through sticker, and adhere to card.

Apply Crackle Accents to butterfly and allow to dry 1 – 4 hours.

Cut cardstock and patterned paper background in desired sizes, use corner punch to round the corner on each paper, attach ribbon, and adhere patterned papers to cardstock.

Hand cut the sentiment embellishment and attach with Pop Up Relief Glue Dots for dimension. Adhere butterfly embellishment when it is dry.





“Happy Holidays” photo card

Cut cardstock and photo in desired sizes.

Place small piece of patterned paper behind the top-left corner of the photo. Create border and adhere to photo. Use a punch to create the scalloped circle. Adhere remaining circle sentiment and “Happy Holidays” sentiment to card. Use Glue Dots to attach the penguin embellishment.



“Tis the Season” gift card holder

Cut cardstock into 3 1/2” x 12” strip and score at the 4” and 8” marks. Cut each end of the strip diagonally, fold on scoring marks, and adhere the edges carefully.

Adorn the cardstock with patterned paper as desired. Wrap ribbon around the entire card and tie the ends. Place the “Tis the Season” sentiment on top of the ribbon and secure in place with Glue Dots.

Attach round embellishment to top inside edge of card. Thread ribbon through the button embellishment and tie in a bow. Attach the button with Glue Dot.









“Season’s Greetings” Card

Martha Stewart Doily Lace Border Punch

Thread

Cut patterned paper into desired shapes and sizes and stitch around edges. Adhere to cardstock and then to the card.

Use the Martha Steward Doily Lace border punch to cut strip, adhere to cardstock, and trim to fit. Wrap with ribbon and glue the ends in place.

Adhere embellishments , stickers, and all other elements to the card. Use Glue Dots where dimension is desired.
