Running 200 miles, making banana bread, and cards

As I prepare to run the Ragnar Northwest Passage next week (http://www.ragnarrelay.com/race/northwestpassage), I have been pedaling goods at work to raise money for scholarships. During the past month I have sold enough loaves of banana bread and cards - along with in-kind donations - to raise $625 for students! Yay!

*Ragnar 2012 start in Blaine, Washington*
*Ragnar 2012 finish - 200 miles and 36 hours later on Whidbey Island*

One of those cards is for a co-worker's daughter who is having her bridal shower next weekend. The card uses Heidi Swapp Peach Color Mist, flowers, and ribbon; as well as AC card stock, Martha Stewart punch, along with bits and baubles from my stash.

This is definitely more "froo-froo" than I would normally make, but I am pleased with the results.

Stay tuned for an update on next week's race and pictures from the event!

  2. Shoot! I am runner 9 so I won't be going through that area. Where do you work? You can wave at Erin as she goes by.
