Paper Issues: Die Cutting Saturday

It's Die Cutting Saturday at Paper Issues, and you know what that means . . . there's a new cut file in the Paper Issues store that's your for the taking!

Today's project was created using the Rise & Shine cut file created by Danielle de Konink (get it here). Isn't it awesome?!

I am loving the latest Shimelle collection with its bright colors and fun embellishments, and used it for this project. For the title, I removed the 3x4 cut, enlarged the font, and cut it out with my Silhouette. Next, I trimmed the white card stock and layered it on the 12x12 patterned paper.

Next, I used molding paste and a Shimelle mask to create the hearts behind my photo. Once it was dry, I started layering papers and embellishments. Finally, I finished with some doodling around the title, paint, enamel stars, and stamps (did you spot the Snarky Stamps?).

Now it's your turn! Create a project using this cut file and you could win a $10 gift card to the Paper Issues store! I can't wait to see your projects!

Thanks for stopping by!
Jennifer
