Hello! It is crazy that we are already welcoming February and since Valentine's Day is just over a week away, I decided to create a project using the fabulous Loads of Love file from the JustNick shop.
For the base, I used a mint green patterned paper from the Dear Lizzy Lovely Day collection that I painted with white gesso. Once that dried, I splattered it with various watercolors that match the colors in the rest of the layout.
After cutting out the Loads of Love on white card stock, I backed each letter with a different patterned paper from the Dear Lizzy Star Gazer collection.
My black and white photo was cut down to fit behind the "O" in the largest part of the cut file.
I kept this layout very simple and only added a few die cuts around the photo and at the top of the page along with chipboard stars in a visual triangle above and below the cut file.
This is a great project to try when you are pressed for time - I was able to complete it in just over an hour one evening after work.
