Put a Word on it with Paper Issues

It's fall, y'all, which just so happens to be the word of the month at Paper Issues. It is also my favorite season and one that I love to document, so November's Put a Word on it challenge is perfect!

Today's project uses the Simple Stories Forever Fall collection with two FREE cut files from Paper Issues - Fall Y'all and Fall Fun.

To begin, I used watercolor paints to create the background on white cardstock. Next, I cut two of the Fall Fun file using vellum and placed them behind the photo, which is also backed with vellum.

After the photo was adhered, I cut the Fall Y'all file with white cardstock and backed it with plaid patterned paper. The same patterned paper is also behind the layout background.

Embellishments and enamel dots followed and were placed around the title and above the photo.

This was a fun project to put together and I love how it turned out.
