Hey everyone! It's McJen today with the final Scraplift Sunday of the month, and today we are lifting the awesome Stacie.
Let's take a look at the original . . .
. . . and what I created. Stacie used two photos on her project, but I only had one to work with and ended up printing the same picture twice and layering them on top of one another. Can I just say that my boy and his girlfriend are adorable together?
To get this project started, I used a piece of Vicki Boutin mixed media background paper. Let me just tell you - these papers are amazing. This is my first time using any of them but you can be sure that I will be creating much more in the near future.
The two photos were backed with patterned paper and then adhered to the background.
One of my favorite embellishments is flowers and I love the bright colors of these.
The title was created using two Vicki Boutin Thicker sets and followed with more stickers that I placed in a visual triangle throughout the layout.
I always love Stacie's' work and was so excited to get to lift her layout today.
PI hope you are inspired to create today. Be sure to post your completed projects in the Paper Issues Friends and Fans Facebook page for a chance to win one of two gift cards this month.
One last thing . . . many of the products used on this project are still available in the PI shop (here). Use code MCJEN at checkout to receive 20% off of your entire order.
Thanks for stopping by!
